The IT Team is currently aware of ongoing sporadic phone outages on the Blackrock campus. At this time the best process is to reset the phone cable at the wall and wait 5-10 minutes. The issue will be resolved once the system is upgraded later this year.

Factory reset your Chromebook

  1. Sign out of your Chromebook.
  2. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
  3. Select Restart.
  4. In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue.
  5. Follow the steps that appear and select the guest network
    The Chromebook will begin to auto configure:
    • Follow the onscreen instructions 
    • Check if the problem is fixed
  • If the issue continues, please submit a happyfox ticket to the IT team.
  • Detail the issue presented and all identify tags on the Chromebook. ie"B0001234"
